When I saw an ad of a “real-pulp drink” on national TV months ago, it kept me wondering who sang the song with this line: “shake, shake, shake, shake, uh, shake it”. After a few weeks my niece sent me an mp3 on my phone via Bluetooth of the song and found out that it was sang by Metro Station. Well, i did not research on the band. I just found out from Miley Cyrus’ Twit, when she Twitted that her brother has a Twitter account and checked it. Bam! There I knew that her brother is the lead vocal of the band Metro Station!

Bangus Festival 2009 Festivals of the North

April 27 - the Festivals of the North was set to start at 1pm but mother nature interrupted the said schedule. It rained cats and dogs before 1pm and it didn’t stop. Well, the show must go on. The streetdance went on at about 4pm. Dingdong Dantes and Marian Rivera of GMA 7’s hit Teleserye ”Ang Babaeng Hinugot sa Aking Tadyang” headed the parade. Participants came from the different towns of Pangasinan with other guests from La Union, Laoag and Iloilo!

Bangus Festival 2009 Gilon Gilon

April 15 - The much awaited Bangus Festival 2009 of Dagupan City has finally started! With a lot of activities scheduled for the day, Gilon Gilon was the highlight! 30 participants from different barangays joined the street dancing. They street danced from Poolside to Burgoz to Perez Blvd. to M.H. Del Pilar to A.B. Fernandez Ave. and lastly, to Plaza where they performed the so-called “ritual”.
