Bacolod Earthquake August 2, 2008 2:15am

A magnitude of 5.5 earthquake hit Bacolod early this morning at around 2:15am and lasted for 15-25 seconds. The quake woke up those who were fast asleep during the time it happened. I also found out that I have a text message at about 2:30am a confirmation that it really happened.
Surely those who were working as graveyard shifts in the Call Centers of Bacolod and near cities experienced this phenomena.

Yeah,I’m working in a call center and was so surprised about the earthquake that visited everyone earlier..It’s so strange and almost everyone wnt to go home.

Not only in Bacolod, People in Iloilo also felt the earthquake

waaaaaaaaaaaa! I thought I heard my guy co-worker screaming like a pig when it happened. That’s when I realized, is he really a guy?? >.<

im also working in a call centre and was on the office when it happened. since im based in the 2nd flr of the building we really felt that the whole place was shaking. at first it thought that somebody is just teasing me and trying to move my station but somebody from the other station shout that there’s an earthquake. i was trembled and scared, thinking what will happen if it will last longer. everybody then stood up staring to each other as if the eyes where saying, “what are we going to do, are we going to drop the call and run?”. but it was good that it lasted for only seconds then after that as if nothing happened and everybody went back to calls talking to joe.

i was awake of an earthquake when i felt that my bed is shaking, i thought somebody moving it but its not, it was an earth quake already that make us shock.. and i saw in my window that some people outside in that building was shouting and talking.. really terrible but thanks God that it last only a second.. that would be an experiencing morning here in negros and some part of iloilo ..

I was asleep, and the earthquake really woke me up…grabe…i was shock, i did not move i was counting many seconds it lasted; 12 seconds…imagine!!! and i looked at my watch, its 2:15 a.m.
